How It Works

Rules, Terms & Conditions
Nominators:

Eligibility for Nominations - Only vehicles located in the Upper Peninsula are eligible for nomination.

One Nomination Per Person - Nominators can submit only one vehicle. Multiple nominations for the same vehicle from separate people are allowed, but only the first person to nominate the winning vehicle will be eligible for the $150 Gift Card.

Vehicle Type & Condition - The nominated vehicle must be rare or of significant interest to car enthusiasts. Any vehicle with extensive structural damage will not be considered - Vehicle has to be able to withstand normal detailing procedures.

No Commercial Nominations - Nominations must be of privately owned vehicles. Vehicles registered under a dealership or commercial enterprise will not be considered.

Self-Nominations - Vehicle owners who nominate their own vehicle are welcome to participate but will not be eligible to receive the $150 gift card if their vehicle is selected as the winner. The free restoration will serve as their reward.
Nominees:

Owner Consent - Vehicle owner must give consent to be nominated and to allow GT to restore the vehicle. Owner must allow GT to take photos/videos during the restoration and the public unveiling for their own marketing purposes.

Anonymity Option - If the vehicle owner wishes to remain anonymous to the general public, we will respect their privacy, but they must consent to the vehicle itself being featured publicly at the unveiling event and in promotional materials.

Vehicle Accessibility - All nominated vehicles must be available for an in-person inspection prior to being officially selected as a top 4 finisher. GreenTree will coordinate a weekend to visit the nominees prior to announcing the top 4 finishers.

Condition of Vehicle - The vehicle should be in complete condition and should not be rusted-out, falling apart, or in a state where normal detailing processes will cause damage. Any decision to disqualify a nominee is at GT’s sole discretion.

Vehicle Owner Agreement - The selected vehicle owner must agree to allow GT to transport the vehicle to our shop and perform detailing, paint correction, and ceramic coating services on it over the course of one week - at no cost to them.
General Rules/Guidelines:

Campaign Duration - The full campaign will run from January to May. Nominations end January 31st, voting ends February 28th, and the restoration will occur in late April, with the public unveiling occurring on May 3rd, 2025.

No Monetary Compensation - The campaign offers free restoration services to the winning nominee and a gift card to the nominator of the winning vehicle, but no monetary compensation or rewards are available for any participant.

Right to Disqualify - GreenTree reserves the right to disqualify any nomination or participant that violates the rules or submits fraudulent/misleading information.

Media Usage - By participating, all nominees and nominators consent to the use of their photos, videos, and vehicle information in GreenTree’s promotional content across all platforms.

Legal Compliance - All owners must be willing and able to provide verification that they rightfully own the nominated vehicle. The vehicle does not have to have an active registration or be road-legal but it must be able to drive under it’s own power or be able to be easily moved by hand.
